Strange error message within banner heade

Hey there, while updating my homepage i noticed the following error-message within the banner-header (while debug mode is true)

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /mnt/webr/a0/14/54422414/htdocs/fsrmed/wp-content/themes/circumference/sidebar-banner.php on line 16

This error only occurs on one page which shows events of one category created with the “The Events Calendar PRO”, but even when all plugins are deactivated. For me there seems to be no difference between the different categorypages…

Can anyone help me to solve the error?

Hi FSR Medizin,

It seems you are using the theme version 1.0.4, the error you get is due to recent WordPress verson 4.3 so, you can update the theme to the latest version 1.2.1 which has this problem fixed.

I updated the theme right now, the error proceeds. Any other ideas?

EDIT: I’m using a childtheme, nothing changed there. Right?
