Sub-Menus not working correctly

Using a new install of Pure & Simple. I have set up my menus just like I did in an older version of P&S, but it is not working correctly.
See attachments. One is the menu structure and the other is the menu bar. I am expecting the MUSIC and VIDEO menus to each contain 2 sub menus below them.

Another weird thing… I removed the sub-menus but when I look at the page, those pages area still in the menu bar. There must be a setting I’m missing…

Let me add more info. I tried going to the Pages page and configuring each page using the index and parent, but that didn’t work either. I went to the Customizer >> Menus and set up the sub menus there. But when I hover over MUSIC and VIDEOS menu items, the sub-menus are not there. What am I doing wrong?

I was hoping that buying the new (Pro) version of P&S would solve all my problems, but I seem to be having more issues with the new one. I assume I’m just doing something wrong. Hope you can help me get this working.

Found the video on adding the primary menu. Followed his instructions and it worked.
