Top Banner image does not show

Hi,

I am installing fresh circumference themes, all went well until i notice that the banner/top banner does not show the correct height, it should be 500 pixels height, but mine show a narrow banner makes it unable to see the whole banner. do i need to reinstall my themes again?

You don’t need to re-install the theme but could you please sent us the url of the link that you are currently working on. So i could figure out the problem and give u the exact solution, and sorry for the late response.

Hi Johannes,
it seems like that the information provided is wrong in the customize. We are working to amend it. The height that header image take is 40px maximum. So we recommend you to use banner widget in place of header image.

i found that widget kits is not as simple as if i set it up within theme.
When can i expect, aproximately, the banner header in theme can be fixed?

Which sort of problem are you facing in widgetkit. Please post your question so we will help you to solve it out. and about the banner header image, the purpose of it to provide a 40px image in every page as a divider where banner isn’t available, So that is not a problem.

The circumference lite showing the full wider banner, that is whati expected from the paid version, is widget kits is the only solution?
if its 40pixels wide why the theme recommending as:

While you can crop images to your liking after clicking Add new image, your theme recommends a header size of 2560 × 500 pixels.

As we said earlier, we find a mistake on that line, which will be amended in the next version and we are extremely sorry for the wrong information that we have mistakenly provided to you.
and to show the full wider banner there are other solutions too, but using widget kit will allow the functionality to show slideshow as well as single image. it can be shown on selected pages, whereas header image will be show on every pages, you will not be able show/hide header image on any specific pages plus you will only be able to use 1 image for the banner in the whole site. So we recommend you to use widget kit and if you have any questions regarding it we will provide you the support.

Still you want just one image on the whole site as banner image please mail me at [email protected] i will forward you a file that will show the header image with 500px height.

I just changed one of the sites that I maintain to Circumference (version 105) (from Celestial – I used Circumference 104 on another site and have no problems) and have a similar problem in that the banner does not display or shows as a thin strip. I do not have a slideshow in the banner at this time (haven’t uploaded a bunch of images yet) and may not want to include one on the home page. I’d rather not use widgetkit if I’m not using a slideshow, as it seems like extra overhead that will not be used. I’ve tried changing to size of my banner image to the recommended 2560 x 500 and various other sizes, but nothing seems to work.

Hi Open Table.

I just use metaslider plugin instead of widgetkit as Shekhar suggested.
insert the meta slider shortcode into the section and done. widgetkit is too fudgy.
