Unfortunately no…the function of WordPress doesn’t allow this (or easily) compared to the free themes you get from the wordpress.org website. The free themes you can do that because of how they setup the theme repository. So for third party themes, such as mine, you have to download the theme, unzip the theme, and then using FTP, replace the existing theme files with the new versions. This also means if you made any changes to the theme files, including the style.css without using a child theme, your changes will be lost.
However, if you are installing a new theme, then yes, you can use the WP theme install function for that.
