Upgrading to Pure & Simple Pro question

I see there is a new version of Pure & Simple (Pro). I was planning on getting it. If I do, how do I use it? Will I need to start over?
Sorry for the total nooby question. I like what I have, but I would like to support your theme and they offered me a 50% off.
Is there a document describing how to upgrade your WP site to use it?
