ParticipantHi Andre,
Just wondering again about how I can change the view of my website so the whole site can be seen rather than in the scroll down version that is currently set in the theme. I asked about this a while back and you said you would do an update to enable a switch between the two views. Wondering if you are still going to do this?
Thanks,

ModeratorHi Julie….are you referring to this topic:
https://www.styledthemes.com/forum/encounters/1030-mobile-device-viewTo confirm, you are mostly looking for the page layout to maintain a desktop like view when on an ipad?

ParticipantHi Andre,
Yes, that is correct.
Thanks,

ModeratorMy apologies…last 4 weeks or so I’ve been crazy busy. Anyway, I made a big sticky note on my monitor to address this soon. I will make some changes to the responsive layout of the pages on tablet view screens and get you to try out the beta update as I do not have a tablet (yet). Before I begin though, what version is your Encounters that you are currently using?

ModeratorJust letting you know I have not forgotten you here…I finally got to doing updates to themes and the one I am working on right now is Encounters. I went to your site and viewed it in an ipad simulator online, and your site pages look like they don’t switch to a mobile view; did you make changes? I believe you wanted to see your sidebar still on the right of your main content when seeing a page in an iPad and not flip down below the content in a single vertical column when being viewed in the portrait orientation way?

ParticipantHi Andre,
I have an iPad and have just checked and it still shows as a scroll down instead of a full view as it appears on desktop.. So, no I have not made any changes.. I wouldn’t know how… 🙂

ModeratorHi Julie….I just added a screenshot of an iPad with your site loaded in it…does your view look like the screenshot with the sidebar still on the right side?

ModeratorWhat model is your ipad? I’ve tried your site in different online simulators and they all look like the screenshot. As for me, I won’t have an iPad for another 2 weeks.
Feel like testing out a modified stylesheet for the theme?
Open your stylesheet and find line 2977 that starts off like this:@media (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 979px) { .row { margin-left: -20px; *zoom: 1; }
Make the 768px as 640px and then test it in your ipad.
IMPORTANT: Make a copy first of your existing stylesheet as a backup.
