ParticipantHello
I have some bizarre problems with the latest Encounters. 179
1) my content bottom widget is not working on any other page than the home page (advanced text widget) when other pages are on default – never had that problem before. So I set up ALL pages on frontpage right sidebar and it works. But we should not have to do that. I disabled all plugins but advanced text and still no widget on other pages – only works with frontpage right sidebar.
2) then once on front page right sidebar on normal pages (not on home) suddenly the font changed! I checked the source – no header here, just a paragraph so the font size and style should not change.
3) the social icons – no image – the icons are there but images are missing
4) When on mobile the menu is called Menu 2. I keep on removing it in the file but that would be a good idea may be to find a way to call it menu?? I know the top right menu is the first one and the secondary is menu 2 but it looks weird on mobile.
5) when testing on narrow browser window the menu goes up and leaves a large empty space between the bottom border and the menuI work with Encounters since years and never had those problems.
Test site – still working on it: http://denturesolutionsmaine.com/denturesolutions/
Thank you 🙂

ParticipantActually I really like the larger font on other pages when I set it up as frontpage – I am always in trouble because clients don’t like too small fonts so that one can stay as it is – even better would be if that would same fonts when we stay on default page for other pages that would be even better. Headache gone for small fonts problem.
Thanks 🙂

ParticipantHi Prisca,
Sorry about the fact that you are finding this glitches on our theme, but we make sure we will get to you soon with the updates.
1) We found that the widgets are not being displayed at the default page templates, full width templates, page with left and right columns and page with left column. We will fix this issue in the next version.
2) I cannot get to this point clearly, as in our sites no fonts are changing in page templates. Could you sent us the screenshot regarding the problem?
3) We have replaced the social icon image with the icons, hence no any images are there… are you having problem without the images?
4) Both menu has been named as menu in the new version.
5) There is options to reduce the margin in the customize. You can reduce it if you want. Please could you explain in brief about the points 2 & 3 so we could solve all the problems.
Thanks.

ParticipantHello Shekkar
3) if you go to denturesolutionsmaine.com/denturesolutions/ I see only little squares – no more F for facebook – T for twitter etc… yes please if you could restore the images/icons of those social bookmarks that would be great 🙂
4) Thanks for the menu. Should I upload a new version or keep on removing it in the file?
5) the space cannot be changed otherwise on desktop my space will not be right so I have to keep it teh way it is so my menu is balanced – now when I shrink my window the menu goes up and leave a wide space between the menu and the bottom border – it is not major – just not adjusted…I know..I am picky!!! Sorry…
1) Thank you for fixing that
2) please see attached.Thank you so much for being so hands on. I so appreciate that 🙂

ParticipantHi Prisca,
1) We have found that the page shows facebook and twitter well, the images are not as per the latest standard and we should add some icons so we replaced the images.
2) Regarding the font issues we are going to update the theme very soon, keep updated on social media.
3) Regarding the menu margin we can reduce the size on the theme but if you wish we can provide you the custom css for that purpose.Thanks.

ParticipantHello Shekkar
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, if you could send the css for the menu bottom margin ONLY on mobile that would be great 🙂
Also the social icons are still not showing for me in any browser even though the image sprite-social.png is good – I even uploaded this image on my child theme but for some reason – still showing an empty square or on IE an empty circle but not F icon.
Thank you 🙂

ParticipantHi Prisca,
you can use the following css to make the menu margin fix on small screen.
@media (max-width: 768px) { .navbar { margin: 10px auto 10px!important; max-width: 100%; }
It seems unusual, the link that you send me shows the facebook links correctly here. Could you sent us a screenshot of that.
Thanks.
