Widgetkit Slideshow pause on mouseover disable

Hi there, is it possible to disable pause-on-mouseover on widgetkit slideshows?

Hi Andrei….unfortunately for any third party plugins, you will need to follow up with their support. However, my guess is that this is coded into their plugin scripts, which means you won’t be able to without editing their plugin directly. I also did a quick look in their support forums as some people have made that request, but it looks like this is not popular enough for them to do it (as they said to a user). I’m not sure any slideshow has that built in as a feature.

If you decide to edit their plugin…it means you won’t be able to update it. But this might help:

I thought that I had to edit media/widgetkit/widgets/slideshow/js/slideshow.js and remove the line:

`this.wrapper.hover(function(){$this.hover=true},function(){$this.hover=false});`

Won’t WordPress still tell me if there’s an update for widgetkit, and if I do choose to update I’ll just have to remove that codeline again?

WordPress won’t show any available updates for Widgetkit, unless widgetkit is setup from the developers to do that…..correct on your last part of removing it again.
