WooCommerce sidebar disappears with this theme!

When using Pure & Simple theme, on my single product page, the right sidebar disappears! I need to show a right sidebar on the product detail page. If I choose a different theme, the sidebar comes back, so I know it’s theme-related. How can this be fixed?

When will the new version be released? I am using this theme – the whole site was built around it. So there is no way to make a sidebar on the single product screen?
