Last night my site went a little crazy. The bottom part of the site is gone (bottom widget positions, social bar etc.) and I can no longer get new widgets to appear on the right hand side bar when dragged across to that area.
I also noticed that the slideshow that I am using in the top banner area (running Ken Burns effect) has gone all screwy as well. (pictures are merging incorrectly etc).
Am guessing that it may be to do with the upgrade to WordPress 4 but does anybody have any ideas.

The Ken Burns effect seems to be finicky with WordPress (at last from v3.9). Try a different effect to see if that works out.

As for WordPress 4.0 affecting a site, please note that usually this relates to a plugin that might not be compatible. This has happened to a couple others where they discovered a plugin they were using was not yet compatible. For my themes, I use strictly WordPress based standards without custom scripts, and so far with my own testing (without plugins), the themes are 100% functional with WP 4.0

But to confirm this, what theme are you using and I will test it again locally. Basically you are saying the bottom widget positions and social bar have disappeared and you can’t put “new” widgets in the right sidebar?

Thanks for the reply. I have changed the ken burns effect to another and all is fine with that part.
I had already tried deactivating all plugins and still the problem remains.
Essentially, I can no longer get new widgets to appear on the right hand side bar when dragged across to that area as the page is cutting off and the text “Copyright © 2014 The Complete Guide to Twins. All rights reserved” which usually sits under the social bar at the bottom has moved onto the side bar.

It looks like you have some HTML code that is breaking the site….I looked at your source code and your right sidebar amazon stuff is showing this when I look at your pages:

    </iframe

Your iframe has no closing bracket. Check out your code and make sure there is a closing bracket because this would definitely break your page:
