    No worries. After having dealt with the avada support guys I’ll definitely prefer your type of support overt theirs.
    Thanks again

    mmmhhhh….. better leave it alone then. I’m only a perfectionist – not that I do perfect thing it’s just my own OCD at play here…. – and I keep thinking of ways to make the site look better and\or more professional.
    Just a question though: having built quite a few websites for customers and having used themes from Themeforest ( Avada and Striking) I find that those themes have a responsiveness built in that satisfies my rampant OCD.
    But I love Celestial and the personalised support you are providing so I’ll stick with it, so maybe if it is feasible it could be something for a future update?
    Thanks

    It actually was an issue with the zip file. Winrar repaired the file and I was able to upload the slider successfully.
    Thank you for your help

    That’s fine, I understand.
    On a different note, and I am aware you are not the developer but…. would you have an idea as to why the zip file that layerslider generates when exporting refuses to load when trying to import it and also refuses to open in winrar or winzip? The demo sliders can be opened no problem and I can get at the json file, while the slider I spent hours making now is not usable because it does not import .

    Sorry for wasting your time…. doh….. now the issue has evolved.
    Screenshot2 is at 1600×1200 on my 22″ monitor, and the copyright banner is not at the bottom.
    Screenshot3 is at 1440×900 on my 19″ monitor and the banner is where it should be.

    Is this not what a responsive theme should do when the screen resolution changes?
    I know that not many users might have a 22″ screen at 1600×1200 but for those that do it doesn’t look right.
    Is there a quick CSS fix that can take care of the resizing?
    Thank you again

    I have seen the color setting but that is not the issue i believe. I attach a screenshot.
    I did change the colors, that only makes the copyright disappear but the black band remains as if it is a ghost footer….

    Update:
    the developer of contact form 7 has info on styling the forms: http://contactform7.com/styling-contact-form/
    This code:

    .wpcf7 input[type="text"],
    .wpcf7 input[type="email"],
    .wpcf7 textarea
    {
        background-color: #fff;
        color: #000;
        width: 50%;
    }

    allows the width of the whole page with the form either in a widget or in a column to be properly displayed in the retina display of an iPad air.
    So to summarize there is no fault in Celestial code and the issue was solely with the form’s styling.
    Thanks

    Thank you for the prompt answer as usual.
    Just to let you know, in the meantime I tried other contact form plugins and they display correctly in all the mobile devices I can try.
    Would the Contact Form 7 code be at fault instead of your code then? I mean, if the Celestial code behaved like that with every form then I would say your explanation makes perfect sense but Celestial displays correctly on retina display with other plugins. What do you think?
    Thank you

    As far as I know the only part of jetpack used on the page is the social bar at the bottom. There is an option to disable it per page but that didn’t have any effect. I can live without the social bar , it is not a big deal.
    Thank you!!!

    The plugin that I disabled is WordPress jetpack. Once deactivated the sidebar works correctly, but I have the same plugin on my current site and it works fine alongside the displaying of the sidebar:

    Is there a way to keep the jetpack and have the sidebar display?
    Thanks
